A identidade visual reflete essa essência, unindo sofisticação, conexão e exclusividade. O desafio foi criar uma linguagem visual que capturasse a atmosfera de leveza, bem-estar e beleza natural, equilibrando o artesanal e o contemporâneo. Também teve inspiração africana, terra natal da empresária que montou seu ateliê em Lisboa mas queria imprimir suas raízes na marca.

The name came from the idea of elevating the candle to a decorative element, a sophisticated gift, and a moment of pure delight.
More than candles and scents, IKHAYA is an invitation to transform every space into a haven of sophistication, pleasure, and reconnection.
The visual identity reflects this essence, uniting sophistication, connection, and exclusivity. The challenge was to create a visual language that captured the atmosphere of lightness, well-being, and natural beauty, balancing the artisanal and the contemporary. It also drew inspiration from Africa, the homeland of the entrepreneur who set up her studio in Lisbon but wanted to imprint her roots on the brand.

A paleta de cores da IKHAYA é inspirada na riqueza e alegria da África! Tons terrosos como marrom e terracota evocam conforto e reequilíbrio, enquanto o vermelho simboliza energia e o verde traz esperança e vitalidade. O amarelo ilumina e inspira, criando um universo visual vibrante e acolhedor.
O símbolo foi desenhado como uma vela com curvas leves e fluidas, ele representa a chama que aquece e acolhe, um convite visual para momentos de aconchego e introspecção.
E para complementar a identidade foram criados alguns padrões inspirados nos tecidos africanos para dar vida às embalagens e todo o material impresso.

IKHAYA’s color palette is inspired by the richness and joy of Africa! Earthy tones like brown and terracotta evoke comfort and rebalance, while red symbolizes energy and green brings hope and vitality. Yellow illuminates and inspires, creating a vibrant and welcoming visual universe.
The symbol was designed as a candle with light, fluid curves, representing the flame that warms and welcomes, a visual invitation for moments of comfort and introspection.
To complement the identity, patterns inspired by African fabrics were created to bring life to the packaging and all printed material.
